Review: Blue Mountain Retreat at Rivergrass Positive: Lovely, spacious, well-equipped, light and airy ground floor condo apartment. Beautifully quiet. Parking immediately outside. Outdoor barbecue provided. Rental cost includes use of private outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi less than one minute's walk away. Negative: It's not possible to walk trails in the Blue Mountains without buying very expensive individual day passes as all the paths are owned/controlled by the Blue Mountain Resort company. There are better, and longer, entirely free trail walks at Inglis Falls just south of Owen Sound. The check-in instructions, when provided, were clear and very good, but, rather than being sent a few days before, the details of how to access the condo weren't sent until the actual day of arrival. This is not good for international travellers who will by that time already be en-route, may then have limited internet access, may have young family and may be becoming concerned that they may not be able to get in on arrival.

It was a fine place to stay. But lack of of wifi partly ruined our experience Positive: Location, tidiness, cleanliness, price ok, Negative: We spent two days without wifi. The management offered a discount to compensate, but then disappeared and we didn’t receive any discount. We had to consume our own limited data and that cost us.

Our host was very responsive and provided all the necessary information, which made the check-in process seamless. The condo itself is nicely situated on a beautiful golf course. That said, we personally didn’t find the surrounding area very engaging, and the Ski Village felt somewhat overpriced and rather dull.

We had a very good stay. The only issue we had was difficulty with getting in the house when we arrived. But the host resolved that within reasonable time. There was some garbage in the kitchen when we came. Overall it was good.

This place is great! Upgrades, clean, great location right next to the hot tub, and ample parking. The PV team was very responsive. Unlike other units that we have stayed at, this one offeres cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee filters, cookware in great condition, plenty of dishwashing detergents and soaps, hair dryer, and great linens. Clear easy instructions for check in and check out and accessible disposal areas. Overall, we really enjoyed this unit, the management team, and location! Would definitely revisit and recommend!

We recently spent a family weekend at Rivergrass. The unit is as shown but a little wear and tear is present. The kitchen, unfortunately, was not very well equipped. The beds are comfortable with very clean linens and towels. The fireplace is lovely . It is great size for a family of 5 or even 6 people. The cleaning could have been better and some items from the previous guest were in the closet, so clearly the cleaners are not looking beyond surface.

Great place, quiet and clean. Host was very helpful and instructions was very clear. A little far than we expected to the village what makes it hard to walk with skii equipments. House is cozy, got the basics in the kitchen(plan easy meals,not many utensils). Would definitely came back !

Unit was clean and pictures accurate but only equipped with bare essentials, We were biking for the weekend and asked if early checkin was possible. We were told $100 more for 4 hours early checkin. We felt this was excessive and then asked to get in an hour early (provided unit was ready) to drop off luggage and change after a 4 hour drive Unit was ready but we were refused the hour. A little goodwill and good old fashioned customer service would have gone a long way.

Due to the high volume of reservations at this time of year, we can unfortunately only accommodate a limited number of early check-ins each day. As there is a high demand for early check-ins, we've opted to utilize a first-come, first-served fee method for reserving and preparing our units for early check-ins. Upon reviewing our communication with you, we wanted to clarify that at the time you requested a luggage drop off, 1:39pm, the unit was not yet ready for your arrival. Knowing your group was looking forward to getting into the unit and hoping for an early check in, we were able to send the codes to your group 51 minutes early at 3:09pm. Although this was not 1 hour early, your group was not refused an hour and we were happy to provide you early access free of charge. We're sorry to hear that this was not what you were looking for, but we hope you were able to enjoy your stay and had a great bike adventure! We hope to have the opportunity to host you and your group again.

Nice and convenient location to Blue Mountain and Collingwood! Enjoyed the neighborhood and scenery. The unit was spacious, and we especially liked the fireplace. Property management was also very responsive and helpful when we faced a few issues. Overall, enjoyed our stay here!

We enjoyed a girls' weekend getaway. We loved how close it was to the Village. We really enjoyed having the pool there too, a nice bonus. Everything went really well. The only negative is the kitchen could be a little better stocked, it was pretty basic.

This unit was comfortable and well-appointed for our family of 5. We wanted a cozy spot with room to relax and easy access to Blue Mountain and we got it! A quick 10-minute walk took us to Blue Mountain Village (along sidewalks and through an intersection with a safe crossing) and all the amenities of the resort. Also a convenient drive to the caves, Collingwood, the Bay and other communities (try Thornbury!). All told, a great visit and a great place to stay!

The girls from work went for a weekend away and we had a blast! The place was even bigger than it looked in the pictures, it was clean and convenient to the village. Such a great place for our girls weekend!

I have stayed in this area before through airbnb with private renters and love the area, location was great 6 min walk to Blue Mountain, there is a pool area to enjoy. overlooking golf course which we love. I don't think I would book a property through Property Valet Management for the following reasons. When first booked through airbnb, check in said 3pm, then the email received through Property Valet said check in time was 4pm. I text asking for a 3pm check in and got no response back, then the day of, hours before I got an email saying the property was ready. Well I am 2 hour drive away, I would have been on the road already but was expecting 4pm check in at this point. The property was clean and inside looked the same as all the others I have stayed at in that subdivision, but with private rentals they always have a few games to play, the kitchen as a bit more like coffee available. It is those little things with a personal touch that makes airbnb so great for blue.

The check in time through Airbnb (and all of our booking platforms) is 4pm, however, if we are able to offer an early check in for our guests, we always will! We completely understand the need for personal touches and ensuring the best possible guest experience! We had a great stay! We would stay again. Pet friendly and pristine accommodations don’t often come in the same stay - but the condo was well maintained. The proximity to the Village is why we would stay again. Very comfortable stay!

Wonderful accommodations. Exactly as described. Property manager was responsive and accommodated my early check in request. Unit was a little large for just my husband and myself but the price was right! So we had some extra space! Love that they allowed us to bring our dog!
