Welcome to Blue View Chalets, great for all seasons! This beautiful chalet has the perfect amount of space for 10 guests and is conveniently located only a 10 min walk to the Blue Mountain Village. Situated across from the award winning Monterra Golf Course. Along with the other Blue View Chalets, the Vista was built in a classic ski-chalet style with an open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area on the top floor and unobstructed views of the ski hill from both the balcony and the hot tub.

*The tentative opening for the Blue View Pool is June 2nd, 2025*

The space

Enjoy your early morning coffee or late night glass of wine while watching the beautiful sun set over the mountains. Head over to the seasonal pool in the summer for a swim with the kids or enjoy the private outdoor hot tub. This chalet is the perfect getaway for any family or friends looking to take advantage of what The Blue Mountains has to offer during any season.

Kitchen:

The kitchen, dining area and living room are all on the same level making it a great place for families and friends to dine and hang out. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities needed to cook including all cutlery and utensils plus a Keurig coffee maker, BBQ utensils & more. All you need to bring is your food and seasonings!

Dining & Living room:

A table for 8 (can fit up to 10) in the dining room will provide comfortable seating for your group while dining and entertaining. Warm up by the gas fireplace with good company after a day of being out on the hills or during those cool summer nights.

Bedrooms:

This chalet has 4 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a Queen in each. The third bedroom has two Single Bunk beds. The fourth bedroom has two Single beds. Each bed is equipped with commercially laundered white bed linens, comforters, and pillow cases. Freshly cleaned towels will be placed at each bedside.

**The owner only permits either two small dogs OR one large dog. Permission is required prior to arrival. Pets must be house-trained and well-behaved. You must pick up after your pets.

**Your stay includes 4 parking spaces on our property. Please use the spaces that are marked with the number that corresponds to your chalet (for example, Aurora guests may park in spots labeled #1). Overflow parking is available but it’s on a first come first serve basis.

Guest access

The Pool:

The pool will be open this summer, however we will be imposing certain rules as follows:

• Maximum number of people in the pool will be limited to 20 at any time

• First come first serve

• Clients may use the pool for a maximum of 2 hours at any time, unless there

are no other clients waiting to use the pool

• No pets are permitted in the swimming pool, hot tubs or steam rooms.

• We ask all guests planning to use the pool to bring their own towels.

overall, a fantastic experience. I have nothing bad to say. The grill could be further improved. The grill was so dirty that we couldn't use it. this is only in my place; I'm not sure of other accommodations. otherwise, everything was lovely and clean. the village was about 15 min walk.

We had an excellent family getaway for a weekend, close to Blue Mountain resort and village. The chalet was clean and well stocked. Check in was easy and the hot tub was fantastic for relaxing! Loved the open concept top floor for kitchen, dining and living room so everyone was together! There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor but stairs to reach common area in case accessibility is a concern. PV was very thorough with instructions and communications from booking through to check out.

This house was not what I had expected. In the basement bathroom, there was no shower gel or soap. To add on, the bedroom beds, had hair on the sheets and pillows as well as the rest of the house’s beds. Plus, there were food wrappers in the left basement bedroom bunk beds. As well as hair and wrappers, the kitchen was not very well stocked. Due to these reasons, I sadly wasn’t very comfortable and did not enjoy my stay.

Fabulous place to stay with family. The kitchen is massive. The fact that it’s 3 levels means a big group can have some privacy from each other. The hot tub is the best feature. Having 3 bathrooms was amazing. There is plenty of parking. The check in was so easy and the place was spotless. Would definitely recommend staying here and would rent again 100%.

The house was exactly as described, spacious and well laid out for a group get away. Hosts were responsive and proactive letting us know of any issues upon arrival and were proactive taking care of said issues. Furniture / bedding were clean and comfortable . Only thing we were lacking was a mop and broom for entrance to reduce water from winter weather tracking in through the entry . Overall great hosts and stay!

Too many things make my family and friends unhappy. The oven also did not prepare and check the gas for us in advance, the hot tub did not work, …… sorry for being so disappointed.

Absolutely perfect place and exactly as advertised. 5 minute drive to the hill. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. It was great having the hot tub after a ski day. It was just the four of us (me, wife and two boys) but the place can fit comfortably more people as advertised (heck there Re two fridges). Highly recommend!

The chalet was in a great location, definitely a big enough space for 10 people. Close enough to the mountain but far enough to have privacy. The 2 fridges were convenient. The place was definitely quickly cleaned before we arrived. The bottom of our socks were grey after walking around the floor. Would suggest bringing your slippers! The hot tub was nice to have! Very minimal utensils if you are cooking, might want to bring some of your own aswell. The garbage disposal was very conveniently close by.

Extremely Disappointed in pool hours for the summer. Three children so our family is up early. 10:30-open time and close time very early for summer. Had bbq with family to celebrate birthdays 5:30-6:30 made the switch to the pool and it closed at 7pm. That relaxing feeling of the sun and pool from 9-10:30am and even 7pm to 8:30pm with sun still shining was missed and not satisfied. However management responded promptly. Not fan in kitchen very hot even with windows open. No screen doors for porch so flow of air was very limited. Space was great, rooms and bathroom clean. Great location.

Our Operations Manager is the only member of staff who is authorized to open and close the pool so the pool hours are aligned with our staff’s hours. There is also a period of time required each morning to clean, chemically balance, and vacuum the pool. We would love to keep the pool open as long as possible for our guests, however, we are working within the framework of the town bylaws and regulations set per the health department. Overall we all had a great time. One suggestion is a roku TV stick on all TVs. The cable in the upstairs tv was spotty. But besides that my nephews and niece had a fun time in the bunk bed room. The cottage was clean and easy to keep clean while using the property. The garbage collection is right in the complex with large collection bins. Blue mountain was actually a 3-5 minute drive which was convenient and awesome. Would book again.

Spacious and clean! Loved the hot tub. Could have used a few more towels. Typical rental kitchen without absolutely everything so we needed to adapt. We were two families spending the week at Blue Mountain. Not quite close enough to walk but we didn't mind the quick drive to the Inn Parking Lot. Texting with the management company was super easy. Not the best experience

Hello, The place overall was somewhat clean, kitchen utensils were all over the place, sticky, not washed properly. We had to wipe the place down quite a bit and the floors were not clean. There was a strange scent in the lower floors. So, overall cleanliness was a huge issue. Our bbq was very dirty and when we turned it on, within 5 mins, there was a flame and we had to use fire extinguishers. And so it was not clean and there was food in it. They cleaned it the next day. The pool broke down, not their fault, but it really impacts your experience when there are too many things that led to a disappointment. The location is great and good for accommodating big groups, but there are improvements needed.

Nice chalet, nice rooms and space for 2 families and dogs. Not an easy walk to village - need to drive. Kitchen is nice but minimally equipped/stocked (dish towels, paper towels, serving dishes).

Check in, location and value were great! The hot tub was a real selling feature. This place is a little rough around the edges- maybe bring your own pillow and towels, and I will say there is minimal soundproofing from each other and the neighbors outside, but overall very happy with our stay. Was great for our family and parents to stay as well.

Promising, but disappointed.

Likes: • Layout of the unit • Parking facilities • Location Dislikes: • 45-minute delay in occupancy • Cleanliness: equivalent to a 2-star motel (spider webs, stains/odor on furniture and carpet). • Interior in general is old and in desperate need of modernization as it appears that things are as originally installed. It was like walking into my parents 1960’s cottage: o floors and carpets are old, stained and warn; hardwood is also worn, has gaps and uneven. o kitchen: faucet loose, floor has loose tile, dishes and cups chipped and non-matching, random pieces of cutlery and glasses. Appliances are old and mismatched and no overhead vent for stove. Counter tops are uneven/warped (on kitchen sink side). o bathrooms: insufficient toiletries, soap and towels. • Water pressure is very low (had to shower in shifts). • Despite replacing batteries, smoke detector/water level sensors still malfunctioning • Exterior: weathered, unit and decks need refinishing and painting. • Listing accuracy: while the pictures were accurate with respect to contents and amenities, they do not reflect their age, nor the requisite wear and tear. The chalet is ok however the hot tub did not get hot - the DVD player did not work

In spite of some items that did not function - we enjoyed the stay, our host was most welcoming, helpful and responsive. Enjoyed the location.

Great Stay!

10 of us (six adults, four teens) decided to vacation for four days (three nights) at StayInBlue and we had a great time! Beautiful home with pool, clean and very spacious. Would definitely rent again.

overall, a fantastic experience. I have nothing bad to say. The grill could be further improved. The grill was so dirty that we couldn't use it. this is only in my place; I'm not sure of other accommodations. otherwise, everything was lovely and clean. the village was about 15 min walk.

We had an excellent family getaway for a weekend, close to Blue Mountain resort and village. The chalet was clean and well stocked. Check in was easy and the hot tub was fantastic for relaxing! Loved the open concept top floor for kitchen, dining and living room so everyone was together! There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor but stairs to reach common area in case accessibility is a concern. PV was very thorough with instructions and communications from booking through to check out.

This house was not what I had expected. In the basement bathroom, there was no shower gel or soap. To add on, the bedroom beds, had hair on the sheets and pillows as well as the rest of the house’s beds. Plus, there were food wrappers in the left basement bedroom bunk beds. As well as hair and wrappers, the kitchen was not very well stocked. Due to these reasons, I sadly wasn’t very comfortable and did not enjoy my stay.

Fabulous place to stay with family. The kitchen is massive. The fact that it’s 3 levels means a big group can have some privacy from each other. The hot tub is the best feature. Having 3 bathrooms was amazing. There is plenty of parking. The check in was so easy and the place was spotless. Would definitely recommend staying here and would rent again 100%.

The house was exactly as described, spacious and well laid out for a group get away. Hosts were responsive and proactive letting us know of any issues upon arrival and were proactive taking care of said issues. Furniture / bedding were clean and comfortable . Only thing we were lacking was a mop and broom for entrance to reduce water from winter weather tracking in through the entry . Overall great hosts and stay!

Too many things make my family and friends unhappy. The oven also did not prepare and check the gas for us in advance, the hot tub did not work, …… sorry for being so disappointed.

Absolutely perfect place and exactly as advertised. 5 minute drive to the hill. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. It was great having the hot tub after a ski day. It was just the four of us (me, wife and two boys) but the place can fit comfortably more people as advertised (heck there Re two fridges). Highly recommend!

The location is perfect as it's only a 15 minute walk to the village. The host were responsive and check-in was very smooth. Definitely would consider booking for future ski trips.

The chalet was in a great location, definitely a big enough space for 10 people. Close enough to the mountain but far enough to have privacy. The 2 fridges were convenient. The place was definitely quickly cleaned before we arrived. The bottom of our socks were grey after walking around the floor. Would suggest bringing your slippers! The hot tub was nice to have! Very minimal utensils if you are cooking, might want to bring some of your own aswell. The garbage disposal was very conveniently close by.

Extremely Disappointed in pool hours for the summer. Three children so our family is up early. 10:30-open time and close time very early for summer. Had bbq with family to celebrate birthdays 5:30-6:30 made the switch to the pool and it closed at 7pm. That relaxing feeling of the sun and pool from 9-10:30am and even 7pm to 8:30pm with sun still shining was missed and not satisfied. However management responded promptly. Not fan in kitchen very hot even with windows open. No screen doors for porch so flow of air was very limited. Space was great, rooms and bathroom clean. Great location.

Our Operations Manager is the only member of staff who is authorized to open and close the pool so the pool hours are aligned with our staff’s hours. There is also a period of time required each morning to clean, chemically balance, and vacuum the pool. We would love to keep the pool open as long as possible for our guests, however, we are working within the framework of the town bylaws and regulations set per the health department. We love to hear you enjoyed the space, were pleased with cleanliness and enjoyed the proximity to the Village and all the area has to offer. Overall we all had a great time. One suggestion is a roku TV stick on all TVs. The cable in the upstairs tv was spotty. But besides that my nephews and niece had a fun time in the bunk bed room. The cottage was clean and easy to keep clean while using the property. The garbage collection is right in the complex with large collection bins. Blue mountain was actually a 3-5 minute drive which was convenient and awesome. Would book again.

Spacious and clean! Loved the hot tub. Could have used a few more towels. Typical rental kitchen without absolutely everything so we needed to adapt. We were two families spending the week at Blue Mountain. Not quite close enough to walk but we didn't mind the quick drive to the Inn Parking Lot. Texting with the management company was super easy. Hope to be back again!

Hello, The place overall was somewhat clean, kitchen utensils were all over the place, sticky, not washed properly. We had to wipe the place down quite a bit and the floors were not clean. There was a strange scent in the lower floors. So, overall cleanliness was a huge issue. Our bbq was very dirty and when we turned it on, within 5 mins, there was a flame and we had to use fire extinguishers. And so it was not clean and there was food in it. They cleaned it the next day. The pool broke down, not their fault, but it really impacts your experience when there are too many things that led to a disappointment. The location is great and good for accommodating big groups, but there are improvements needed.

Nice chalet, nice rooms and space for 2 families and dogs. Not an easy walk to village - need to drive. Kitchen is nice but minimally equipped/stocked (dish towels, paper towels, serving dishes).

Check in, location and value were great! The hot tub was a real selling feature. This place is a little rough around the edges- maybe bring your own pillow and towels, and I will say there is minimal soundproofing from each other and the neighbors outside, but overall very happy with our stay. Was great for our family and parents to stay as well.

Likes: • Layout of the unit • Parking facilities • Location Dislikes: • 45-minute delay in occupancy • Cleanliness: equivalent to a 2-star motel (spider webs, stains/odor on furniture and carpet). • Interior in general is old and in desperate need of modernization as it appears that things are as originally installed. It was like walking into my parents 1960’s cottage: o floors and carpets are old, stained and warn; hardwood is also worn, has gaps and uneven. o kitchen: faucet loose, floor has loose tile, dishes and cups chipped and non-matching, random pieces of cutlery and glasses. Appliances are old and mismatched and no overhead vent for stove. Counter tops are uneven/warped (on kitchen sink side). o bathrooms: insufficient toiletries, soap and towels. • Water pressure is very low (had to shower in shifts). • Despite replacing batteries, smoke detector/water level sensors still malfunctioning • Exterior: weathered, unit and decks need refinishing and painting. • Listing accuracy: while the pictures were accurate with respect to contents and amenities, they do not reflect their age, nor the requisite wear and tear.
