Description

Welcome to our waterfront escape in Singhampton! Located on Brewster’s Lake, this home has direct waterfront access via a private dock. Sleeping up to 10 guests, you’ll find 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, as well as a basement living area complete with ping pong and a treadmill. Outdoors, you can also enjoy lake views on the upper deck in the hammock and lounge area by the fire. This home is centrally located to Duntroon Highlands golf, the Blue Mountain Village, Collingwood, and Thornbury.

*Please note, there are no TVs, but the basement has a Smart TV projector.

The upstairs living area invites you to gather and connect around the cozy fireplace. The adjacent dining area and kitchen provides all cutlery, cookware, and dishes you’ll need to prepare delicious meals in-house! All you’ll need to bring is your food and coffee. Downstairs, in the secondary living area, you’ll have access to a treadmill and a ping pong table for indoor fun.

This home has 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. All linens, pillows, and towels are provided for your stay. *If you plan to swim, we recommend bringing beach towels.

Bedroom 4 - Queen bed + Single bed for littles

Bedroom 5 - Queen bed + Single top bunk bed for littles

There is a washer and dryer available for your convenience.

Outdoors

While there are other homes on Brewster’s Lake, the pictured dock area is private to this home only. Muskoka chairs and paddleboards are provided and are free to enjoy! There’s also plenty of backyard space for lawn games.

Just a few minutes walk up the road, you can access a small beach area that is private to the neighbourhood.

Other Details to Note

This is a tech-free zone! There is Wi-Fi, but there are no TV's in the living rooms or bedrooms.

Linens and pillows are provided, but kindly note that they are not hypoallergenic and are down (feathers) filled. If you prefer to bring your own linens, you are welcome to do so!

For Winter Guests: Kindly note that the thickness of the ice on the lake can be unpredictable, and therefore it is not recommended to venture on to the ice for any purpose. Guests who choose to proceed anyways will do so at their own risk.

overall the great experience, especially good for larger groups. it is buggy by the dock. and some of the items are a bit dated and worn. but it's great value in a nice neighborhood amazing for a weekend trip for a large group or family

The place is well suited to big groups, but is missing some of the thoughtful touches that I would have expected at the price I paid. E.g., outdoor sitting for eating, coffee/ side tables in the indoor sitting area, clean outdoor lounge furniture, etc. Easy to find and comfortable beds. Peaceful dock by the lake. Not a great area for swimming but lovely for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Good sized indoor dining table for group dining. Overall looked like the pictures.

This was a great home, perfect for our hiking group over the weekend. It was convenient to our hiking locations. There was a little confusion about accessing the home, which was quickly sorted out. The host was prompt in responding to our questions. The property was spectacular with a lake view and a great seating area on a deck on the water. Views from the house were fantastic. We were treated to spectacular sunrises in the morning. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We very much enjoyed the fireplace and the large main room and dining facilities. All the bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. This was, by far, the best Air BNB property we’ve stayed at. We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay in Singhampton. We had one small issue related to the projector and they rectified it with a very accommodating late checkout. Very responsive and a solid kitchen for whipping up family meals. All the rooms are spacious, but the star of the show for us was definitely the ping pong table downstairs.

The house was lovely, clean, and easily fit our group of 7 adults. Each room was spacious with super comfy beds and the main floor rooms had great backyard views with walkout doors. The host was quick to respond, and we loved the large backyard for activities. The lake is quiet and peaceful and once you go around the bend, it has a really nice view. Only minor note—the dock could use some repairs which made it a little difficult to get in and out but overall this was a fantastic 5-star stay!
