The beehive was beautiful & cozy and we liked it although it was smaller than what we thought which was not a issue for us. i liked the number of rooms for a small place and the cozy indoor sauna. its a 10 minutes drive from village and the way to village is beautiful. the only problem was there were a lot of snow on the staircase and front porch when we arrived that i had to shovel and pour salt on (they left two bags of salt there). there was double the size snow on back porch where BBQ and hot tub are which we managed to shovel partly so we can pass. overall positive experience and good value, i would suggest.

It was a cozy chalet and host was very responsive! Size was a bit small of all rooms yet, overall a super cozy and beautiful location! The place had a hot tub & sauna and kitchen was full of needful utensils and tools which was a plus. Only thing i could think of which can be improved is that host can add few mats in bathroom but overall an amazing stay - worth the money! Wifi was very weak but we knew and understand that as location was in the mountains! Will definitely come back.

We had a pleasant stay here. The house looks beautiful to me. it is kind of cute. but the problem with its design was rooms were pretty small hence bunk beds were small too. two children on top of the bunk bed could not sleep easily. it was good for one person on top and one on the bottom. the area is beautiful, hot tub was working with no issues and the water was hot already when we entered. the location is great, as it is close to the city center and the lookouts and parks. internet speed is awful. both on mobile network and on the wifi, so we all had a compulsory digital detox for two days!

Great location and home had character! It was a tight fit for 8 adults & 5 kids but the home was very cozy! Ideal location! Lots to do in and around the cottage. Very quiet and peaceful. Washrooms could do with some cleaning. We found cobwebs and dust around the main living areas of the home. Otherwise we enjoyed it. Check in was very convenient and the team was responsive!

The place and location were great. The Beehive is a unique place and the layout definitely has a charm to it. All the amenities were available and functioned as expected. Although the place would definitely benefit from a deep clean as there were spider webs and dust collecting on the crevices of the ceiling, fans and lamps. As well as hair collecting in washroom drains and staining on shower walls and floors. Nothing too concerning just something to note, which I hope improves the next guests stay. PV Teams responses and instructions were clear and prompt. That I had no questions whatsoever. It was a seamless check-in and checkout process. I enjoyed my stay with them and appreciate them for having me.

We had a great stay at the Beehive! Our whole group enjoyed their time there. It was a cozy and cute place that had places to hang out, enjoy meals together and play together. Hot tub was a great activity for all! The place was clean and functional, but could use a little updating in terms of furniture, but overall we had a great time!

The place was nice and cozy, with the interesting experience of being inside of a circular home. Really close to blue mountains about a 5 minute drive and if you are missing any groceries or supplies collingwood is 10 minutes away.

Great place in Blue Mountains! Very close to the village, lots of space and great amenities. Such as the hot tub and firepit. Theres also a sauna, but we didn’t use it. Stayed here comfortably with our group of 9 adults and 3 children. The furniture and linens were super comfortable and the massive harvest dining table was an essential part of staying there! The sauna, hot tub and fire pit were definitely a huge perk as well as being so close to blue mountain and the views were a treat. Would definitely recommend for a big group looking for somewhere cozy to stay!

The beehive was a great little weekend getaway! It definitely was cozy for the 14 of us but the yard, hot tub and fire pit made up for it, leading us to enjoy the outdoors more. The PV was also very responsive and accommodating!

The place is very nicely designed, clean and well maintained. They have prepared towels and basic toiletry which is a pleasant surprise. Hot tub was quite nice and the kitchen is functional. Just a note that the space would likely feel cramped for 10 plus people. But overall we had a great experience.

The place was cozy and calm however, it was smaller than expected. Also, the shower in the downstairs bathroom was broken so we had to share 1 shower between 11 people which caused a lot of inconvenience and affected our plans. Lastly, we were not aware that we wouldn't be able to use the hot tub or the fire pit after 11 pm (some guy came to tell us) which was quite scary especially since it was so dark. Overall, the experience was fine however, it wasn't what we had expected.

The location was perfect and the place was as it was discribed and shown in the picture. We stayed there for 3 nights and the instructions regarding hottub and the rest was pretty clear as well. There are a couple of things that didn't quite sit right by me 1. The rooms esp in the basement weren't as clean. There were spider webs and spiders at the corner of bunk beds in the rooms in the basement. 2. Usually they supply spices like sugar salt pepper at every bnb I have been to, which I wasn't able to find here. Rest it was all really good, the place was cozy, rest of the places was clean and all

PV Team is very friendly and very fast communication. After booking we had to change booking date and they did approve request with some additional charges. It was clean place but couple of times we found some insects which could bite kids. House was surrounded by trees so its understandable as well but if it can be prevented it will be awesome. House seems old and old construction.House built in small area & too many rooms made in small area so we felt bit congested in bedrooms & washroom and all .If Dishwasher can be added it would be great so guests do not have to wash dishes manually. at the time of booking it was the cheapest one so we went for it. Except couple of things overall it was good experience and no complaints just couple of suggestions !! Thanks

The Beehive was a nice getaway for 12 of us co-workers for our team building. Although it was a small close knit space we made the most of it. We enjoyed our stay and it was so close to the Scenic Caves. The host was very responsive and helpful to questions and requests for assistance.

Had a great long weekend here at the beehive with a group of my friends! Comfortable enough for 10 people and a good size yard for lawn games and a fire. Would have loved it if the lawn was mowed and a there’s a couple safety precautions, the step going into the hot tub is rotting and unstable so be careful getting in and out. As well, when going downstairs to the basement, the railing on the right side is quite loose. Also, if wanting to have a fire you need to bring your own wood as they don’t supply it (ad says bring it yourself if coming in winter/fall). Walmart is conveniently close in case you forget anything. Over all great stay and would recommend for groups!

The beehive was amazing!!! We were a group of 4 moms on our first getaway without kids, and it was perfect! We watched an incredible northern lights display from the hot tub, and were able to easily walk to the chairlifts at the top of blue mountain! The host was extremely responsive in their communication, and the house was spotless! I would highly recommend this spot for any small group getaways!! We would definitely stay here again!

Very cute place. Had everything we needed. Only two things I didn't like was that a lot of the beds were fairly uncomfortable, and the property next door is very very close. Overall a really good visit though.

The house is cozy and unique and in a great location. We had a group of 9 adults, and it was a good size for us, but feel that more than 10 adults would be pretty tight (they accept up to 14 guests). The kitchen was well stocked, just be aware that there is no dishwasher. Some of the dishes were damp so we felt we needed to re-wash/rinse everything before use. Otherwise the place was clean, and there were clean sheets and linens for everyone. They did send a message on the first day that their security provider would come by to introduce themselves, but no one ever came, so I am not sure what that was about. Other than that, communication was good, they responded quite fast to my questions prior to arrival, and getting in was easy.

Great place to stay. It’s quite small compared to what you see in the picture. Wifi didn’t work during the time we were there. However we only stayed for a night so it wasn’t a problem. There’s not enough power outlets in the room so if you carry a lot of electronic devices consider to bring extra plug. The wall is quite thin so you can hear everything from the other rooms. Other than that, the house is quite cozy. We love the sauna and hot tub. The kitchen works great for us. We have a great time playing board games in the living room.

The place is not worth the money. It’s somewhat rundown. Hot tub was dirty, toaster was broken. Fire pit at the front of the house which couldn’t be used.

Very happy with this place. My friends and I had a great time in Blue Mountain. The check-in was seamless with clear instructions and the host was responsive. The beehive was cute and comfy, but still ideal for a large group. During our stay, we used the kitchen, sauna, and hot tub. During the day and for dinner, we went into Blue Mountain village and explored the area. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a mini vacation. I'll be booking again with this company in the future.

A great cottage for leisure activities with some friends. Positive: It is very cozy Negative: The only issue was that the driveway was not plowed so our vehicle got stuck a few times. However, there was a snowstorm that weekend so there isn’t much that could have been done.

cozy cottage that fit a large group. great location. close to the resort. property management was quick to respond. we had a great time. my only feedback would maybe that TV can be more updated to access Netflix and streaming platforms. but overall great place to stay close to blue mountain.

We were a group of 12 and stayed here for 2 nights. The place is cozy and comes with a nice sauna and a hottub. The kitchen is stocked with all you may need for cooking. And it's within 10 min drive to Blue Mountain Village, which is great. However, when we checked in, some lights inside and outside of the cottage were not working, which made it very dangerous to get to the cottage from our cars. I notified the host about this issue and had back and fourth communications with them for hours, but they could not fix the issue. I asked for a partial refund for that first night due to the unresolved issues, but they were not responsive. Eventually, I followed up with Airbnb support team and submitted a report for the existing issues, but the host did not respond to that report, and the airbnb team issued a 30% refund on that night's fee. This whole process took many hours and ruined our night. I do not recommend this cottage due to their lack of responsiveness.

First and foremost, we apologize for the issue that you experienced with the dining room and outdoor light. Prior to your check-in, this property was inspected thoroughly by our Team, but in the daylight it is clear that the lighting issue was missed. This was an error on our part and we have reviewed this incident with our staff. Fortunately, our licenced electrical contractor was available to repair the issue quickly the next day. In regards to our responsiveness, we're sorry to hear that you felt we did not meet expectations. When you reported the issue, we sent a Team member to the home to try to repair the lighting issue. Once it was identified that a licenced trade would be required, our Operations Manager followed up to let you know it would be addressed the next day due to the time of night. While you did discuss compensation and were given assurance that your issue would be reviewed by our Management Team and that a refund would be forthcoming, we understand that at times Guests are more comfortable dealing directly with Airbnb. Ultimately, we understand that when on vacation any amount of time taken away from enjoying the space and good company is not ideal. We hope that we have communicated that our Team was working as quickly as possible to address this unfortunate issue. Thank you for staying with us Jamal.

Very happy with this Airbnb. My friends and I had a great time in Blue Mountain. The check-in was seamless with clear instructions and the host was responsive. The beehive was cute and comfy, but still ideal for a large group. During our stay, we used the kitchen, sauna, and hot tub. During the day and for dinner, we went into Blue Mountain village and explored the area. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a mini vacation. I'll be booking again with this company in the future.

We had a girls weekend and this was a great space! There were 8 of us and it was the perfect size - we could all fit around the table and in the upstairs living room. With 8 of us we could have used a couple of extra tea towels in the kitchen especially since there is no dishwasher. The bedroom with the queen bed had a blind in the window that wouldn’t lower - which was okay as I’m a morning person, but I could see that bothering folks who wanted to darken the room a bit. We liked the check in by security to make sure we knew the rules / bylaws - they were friendly. Overall a great place to stay!

Our stay at the beehive was amazing. The home itself has such character. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and around the fire pit. Everything was laid out as it should be. Dog friendly which is always nice. There were 7 of us as we all fit comfortably in all areas (dining table, deck, fire pit, couches, etc). There were reviews that the downstairs bathroom was a bit tricky to manoeuvre - the guests who were over 6” did have a hard time but all of us shorter guests were totally fine. I would definitely recommend this property.

The Beehive was everything we had hoped it would be. I love it's proximity to the Blue Mountains village. Check in and check out were smooth and the communication was on point. It did rain during our stay which made the unpaved driveway went and slippery but it was very minor inconvenience.

Place was alright. Definitely a cute place for a get away, but for the price you pay the quality just isn't there. Says it can fit up to 14 people but we were feeling tight with 10. Basement is poorly renovated, doors don't close properly, latches don't work, basement shower leaks, washrooms smells. It seems like they tried to put as many rooms as they could in the basement. The basement washroom is extremely small and tight, almost no room to maneuver or place your belongings. The AC is extremely loud which can get annoying after hours, especially when you want some peace and quiet. Dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans were all provided which were nice. Make sure you take a good read at the rules of the place, they can potentially be off putting due to the sheer number of rules. Reading all the rules puts may out a downer of the vibe of the trip, even though we had zero issues with them. All in all, not a terrible stay but for the price, quality should be better.

Communication with the host and the location were the only positive things I have to say about our stay at the Beehive. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. Upon arrival we pulled up to an uncut lawn and a deck that looked like it was very overdue for maintenance. We were immediately off put and hoped that the inside was better. The kitchen area was nice as well as the upstairs loft but that’s about it. The interior is very tired thus making it looks run down and dirty. Marked walls in the bathroom/bedrooms, missing baseboards, dirty bed frames, etc. In the basement, there are so many bedrooms crammed into one space making the rooms incredibly small. The top bunk is about two feet from the ceiling which is a hazard in itself and near impossible to get down from. The sauna was a nice touch until you realize the door is made of wood and peeling from the inside. The showers were also both not clean and had hair and dirt on the floor. The sheet and blankets are a whole other story. Super cheap and pilled. The instructions in the binder were completely different than the instructions on the listing. They said there was a dishwasher when there wasn’t and they said no smoking allowed but there was a massive ashtray outside. Just very confusing. Overall you didn’t feel like you were on a nice weekend getaway, the place was expensive for how poorly maintained it was.

This place is super cozy but really maximizes the the space, I was a bit disappointed there was no salt/pepper/oil, but that didn’t dampen our mood. The hot tub was great and clean, the sauna worked great and was a huge bonus, the rooms are a bit tight but we didn’t do anything besides sleep, amazing location right at the top of one of the ski lifts, lots of parking and great host communication

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are small but very cute. The place is right at the top of the mountain, so it was very convenient for skiing. The hit tub and the sauna were clean and a nice addition after a day of skiing. The only issue we had was the oven. It needs to be cleaned as it smells a lot when you’re cooking.

This past weekend we had a girls getaway for a bachelorette party and stayed at the beehive. It was such a great spot to stay at. The drive up the mountain with the beautiful view on the way was breath taking. Once arriving to the beehive, we were beyond impressed with this cool spot. Our stay at the beehive was great. Place is as described, sleeping arrangements were great, and there was a hot tub and sauna. Hot tub jets were not working during our stay however. Sauna worked great. The place is certainly an Airbnb, with there being damage in a few spots. And only cleaning what’s easy to reach. Behind the fridge and couches was very dusty, and the sauna smelt a bit funny. Top of the slopes is not exactly walkable, same with the skating trail and apres. However they are just a short drive away.

Awesome stay at the Beehive! Great place for my extended family to get away and enjoy some rest and relaxation. The home was easy to find and in an excellent location. We found the unit to be well stocked and enjoyed preparing meals as a family. The hot tub was a welcome treat after a day on the hills. It's a quaint and charming building (unique adthr shape of a beehive). It was quite tight for us with a family of 9 adults and 2 children. Great that pets are allowed but not so toddler-proof. We enjoyed the location and in genera thought it was nice and reasonable value. One slight annoyance we had, there were not enough of all kitchen items for a property that markets itself as large enough to host groups over 10. e.g. only 6 bowls when we had made soup for lunch one day. Not enough coffee mugs, glasses for everyone to have one. only 6 forks etc.

The Beehive is a beautiful spot! We had 9 of us and there was room for everyone. A security guard did come around the first night to let us know the neighbours are quick to call bylaw so keep the noise down and be out of the hot tub by 11, but he was very polite and didn't bother us. We had a great time!

Good place to stay if you’re going to blue mountain. You can easily walk to an entrance with you gear and ride in. Parking for blue is super close as well. With that.. I was pretty disappointed with finding out the house is right on top of the neighbor. The hot tub is especially close. They should have a picture of this to warn guests. It was quite the buzz kill. A security guard introduced themself and proceeded to say we couldn’t use the hot tub after 11pm and said the neighbors frequently call noise complaints on the house. Nowhere in the rules on Airbnb or the Terms and Conditions do they state this time limit. We were looking forward to enjoying the hot tub after a long night at the hill but were stressed about potentially being too noisy. I wish this listing was more forthcoming with the reality of the space.

My family and I had a great stay! We loved the place. It was cozy, it had the necessary amenities (sauna+hot tub were definitely a plus!) Kitchen was equipped with good varieties of cooking utensils and supplies. We got to cook delicious meals and have meals together as a family. The location was perfect! Just minutes to the Blue Mountain Village and there are many beaches not far from the area. Also, multiple grocery stores were in the area. We overall had a wonderful stay there!

We had a fabulous time staying at the Beehive to celebrate a beautiful bride-to-be! We were a group of 10 and we fit cozy and comfortably! Even before we checked in, our host was wonderfully communicative and very helpful. Our home for the weekend was as pictured and as expected— warm and cozy, great spaces for easy gathering and gabbing both upstairs and around the kitchen table, and a level of cleanliness that would make my mama proud! The hot tub and sauna were such a delight to have on hand. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware/bakeware/dishes and cutlery, but just note that there aren’t any seasonings such as salt and pepper on hand. Totally not a big deal— and as explained by our host when we asked, condiments and seasonings are not included due to potential allergies, so I fully understand!— just make a mental note to bring seasonings and cooling spray with you if you’re going to need it! (But as it’s only a 10 minute drive to the grocery store, it’s not the end of the world if you need to run out on a mission!) But to wrap it up, we had the best time and I can’t wait to find a reason to come up and stay at the beehive again!

Perfect location, and we had a great time exploring the area. The outdoor amenities provided at the beehive were great. The listing describing the rooms were misleading, Ad states12 beds, however there are 8 beds. We had 6 adults, 2 children, and 5 seniors and 1 infant. We found the sleeping arrangements so uncomfortable that 2 people slept on the sofas and 2 on an air mattress that we thankfully brought as backup. The top bunk of the bed was approximately 2-3 feet from the ceiling, making it impossible to get into/out of the bed, also very dangerous if you suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. The washroom in the basement was uncomfortable, to use the toilet, you'd have to sit and keep your legs stretched out to your left at an angle. When we arrived, the hot tub was not functional until our 2nd day of staying at the location. Communication with the property manager was great. Overall expected a more comfortable sleeping arrangement.

The wifi was up and down though we reset the modem. There’s a guard who keeps going to you for nothing. We understand that he needs to do the job but all the rules of no noise after this time, no hot tub after this time,… they were all so annoying and really ended our vacation trip. *Note: we didn’t do crazy or loud music activities outside of the airbnb but he just kept coming and knocked the door to remind us not to do this and that.

Everything was good regarding the place except for one thing: I even asked about the hot tub a couple of days before our arrival and they told us it's working well. Then, on the day of the arrival, they suddenly messaged us and told us it was not working and we cannot have it during our stay. They didn't compensate us in any way and I even asked them for a later check out time (4 pm instead of 11 am) as a little compensation for the mentioned issue and they even didn't accept that. They only gave us 2 more hours to check out. For a listing on the Airbnb website that has "hot tub" in its title, I think that's a necessary item to make sure it will be available for their guests! The other thing regarding the listing that guest probably needs to know sooner is that all the guests should be above 25 (I don't know where this number comes from!) and they didn't mention it in the listing's description (at least we didn't find it!) and once we sent the request for the unit, they told us everyone should be above 25. Apart from all of these, the place itself was very beautiful, although some rooms were quite small, it was a fantastic place, and we had so much fun there! All those negative rates were only because of not giving us the correct information regarding the availability of the hot tub and no compensation in return! I wrote all of these so that next time, hopefully, this problem won't happen to the other guests!

The Bee-Hive didn’t disappoint. I stayed here for 3 nights with 14 of us and it accommodated us well. Would stay here again! The fire pit is covered in snow in the winter and the driveway is only single lane so plan accordingly if visiting the bee hive. Would recommend this stay to anybody!

This property was not worth the price, it's smaller than it looks, and it's under prepared to handle the amount of people it says it can.... and the host arrived later than the checkout time to let us into the cottage. One of the selling points of this place was the hot tub, but the chemicals were off or there was too much of something, we all had irritated skins and burning after the hot tub. We will never rebook this place!

Overall we enjoyed this property! Held our group of 3 families perfectly. We skied at Blue for the weekend and it was a 2 min drive to the lift parking lot. I'm not sure how it would be considered walkable for kids though. Hot tub was PERFECT! There is no dishwasher or dryer though.. which would've been helpful.

This was the perfect location for skiing and enjoying the outdoors. The house was quaint and clean with everything we needed. Tons of rooms to accommodate multiple families with children. The hot tub and sauna were a great bonus and definitely enjoyed after a day of skiing at beautiful blue mountain. Just a two minute drive to ski, hike or skate.
