The Cozy Timber: Pool + Village Shuttle at Blue!

Visited as a family of 8 adults and two kids and everyone had an amazing time! The location is central for a Blue Mountain escape, pool was great, the property management team was very responsive and the home was extremely clean. I would highly suggest visiting here if you are staying with a family. The neighborhood felt extremely safe and provided options for many activities including biking, golf, the village and swimming.

I want to say not everything went as expected but the response from the Property Valet team was professional, responsive and excellent. Things happen but I always think it’s about how a company responds rather than the random problems that occur. Thank you for taking care of our family on this trip. We loved the property, pool and house.

This was a perfect spot for our group of 8. We were two family with kids. Lots of room, more than enough sleeping space. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Everything was clean. A couple of things need to be repaired such as the top bunk rail was broken (but clicks back in place) and a rail on the balcony. Other than that this place was perfect. Nice and close to Blue Mountain. We walked it once but mainly relied on the shuttle that you book and it picks you up/drops you off right at your location. The community pool is steps away and an added bonus! Overall, I highly recommend this home:)

We had an amazing stay at this cozy spot in the Blue Mountains! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to the Village and all the nearby attractions. We especially loved relaxing after a long day of hiking or exploring. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

We stayed at this location with adults, little children and an elderly person. At check in we had to wait until almost exactly 4pm to get the code for access to the unit. There were a bit of things that would have made our stay a little easier: 1. hand towel for dishes 2. soap for the washrooms 3. extra towels Also, a few items that should be repaired: 1. rail on outside backyard balcony 2. the bars on handrail for the stairs leading to the door was broken and a little dangerous for the little ones depending on the rail A couple other observations: - The BBQ was quite dirty and probably should have been cleaned after use from the last group. - the community pool was pretty small. It gave me a neighbors pool vibe that was not very clean. Other than that, everything else was as described. Hosts were very quick to reply if we needed anything. Bedrooms were very nice and spacious. Not much to do in the area unfortunately.

We’re sorry to hear there were a few things missing that would have made your visit easier, like a dish towel, extra towels, and hand soap. We’ll review this with our team to ensure these essentials are consistently provided. Regarding the concerns with the stair and balcony railings, these are part of the condominium complex’s responsibility, and we’ve already submitted maintenance requests to have them addressed. While we don’t have direct control over those items, we completely understand your concern and it is expected to be addressed in the following weeks. As for the community pool, it is not under our management, as noted in the listing, but we’ve typically received very positive feedback about it. The pool is quite spacious for a shared complex, but we’re sorry it didn’t align with your expectations during your visit. Thank you again for your helpful comments. We had a good stay here in early July. The location is great, a close drive to Blue Mountain Village, and the community pool access was definitely a highlight. The check-in process was very easy, the space was clean, the beds were comfortable, but a few small things could have made the stay better - better toiletries, pantry basics, board games, a mosquito net for the balcony or at least a fly swatter. Overall though, it was still pleasant. With a few tweaks, it could be great.

Just spent the most amazing cottage weekend up in Blue Mountain and I can’t recommend this place enough! The property was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. The pool was definitely a highlight, super clean and the perfect way to enjoy the sunny weather. What really stood out to me, though, was the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. I accidentally left a bag behind after checking out, and they went out of their way to put it aside for me and let me know exactly where and when I could come by to pick it up. That level of care and communication isn’t something you find everywhere. If you’re thinking about booking a stay in Blue Mountain, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!
