The Settle Inn

Great and spacious place to stay for our 10 person adult vacation. The place never felt crowded and we were able to all hang out together. There were multiple sitting areas which were lovely. We didn’t even end up using the basement because the rest was so spacious. Loved having the amount of bedrooms / bathrooms available so we were still able to have our privacy. We were able to see the views of the mountains outside the large windows which was lovely. There were some minor things that could have been improved like the place could really use a deep clean. The kitchen cupboards and backsplash had caked on food and there were enough cobwebs throughout the place. Also would benefit from some cosmetic repairs. The water pressure was lacking - for example you couldn’t have one person shower while someone else did dishes or ran the dishwasher. There were also garbage bags left from the previous renters. All in all was a lovely place for a getaway. We would return!

For the price we paid we felt it wasn’t worth it. Nice location but the house needs some fixing. Dish washer doesn’t clean properly, there was this sulphur smell that went through the entire house both days we were there (someone did come and check the house which was nice), items from previous guests were located around and under couches (which makes us question how thorough the cleaning is), bed sheets in one of the rooms didn’t look new and showers were either cold or not a lot of pressure. However, the place was equipped with a lot of kitchen items, we were able to use the fireplace which was nice and lots of room throughout the place. The mud room area on lower level was nice to set up the ski equipment. Nice area to get to the hills. Hosts were very responsive and nice.

Our stay was excellent. The property is within walking distance of the village so we went there every evening. The kitchen is really well stocked. We had a large group of 14 but the place never felt crammed. The large dining table quickly became the gathering place for all the meals as well as game nights. I'd highly recommend this place.

We were a group of 11 and the home had more than enough space to host all of us. We absolutely loved the dining table which seated all of us. The cozy fireplace was amazing to unwind by after a day at the hill! The village was within walking distance and the home centrally located to everything we visited. The only recommendation we would have to others is to bring shampoo/conditionner and body wash as being a big group showering everyday the small containers ran out quickly. As per the listing they clean the hot tub between guest so if you’re arriving on the same day the water may not be as hot as indicated. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a group of 9 stay and it was comfortable, spacious and enough beds that it was comfortable for everyone. Game room is smaller in person but we loved all the different levels that people could have different space to do what they wanted, such as watch tv, play board games/ cards or rest. We all said we would stay again.

Place had lots of space and amenities as described. Only negative comment there weren't any closets or hooks in some of the bedrooms as well as bathrooms. So, no place to hang wet towels or places to hang up clothes in some of the bedrooms.

Our stay was fantastic! The location was awesome and our host was very responsive. House is big enough to accommodate lots of people and the 2 living rooms makes it a perfect place for families. Only critique is that there should be an option for a crib for children and small touches such as the hand soaps. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Our family stayed here for 3 nights, for a quick getaway. The house is located on a quiet street, a quick walk to the Blue Mountain village. There is ample parking for about 4 cars and a backyard which offers good privacy for the hot tub. There were however a few notable items of concern we encountered. The home overall, seemed like it needed to be freshened up. The furniture felt heavily used, damaged and in need of replacement. For example: One single beds missing supports by the feet, causing matress to sink Wall outlet without a cover - shock hazard for kids. The shower base and tub had what looked like black mould. Cracked window glass Broken floor trim pieces Bedroom window lock not functional - the room with bunk beds for kids Couch on the verge of breaking Carpet is need of cleaning - smell the biggest concern, the steps which go upstairs are not the same height. first step is much shorter, causing an elderly parent to fall and bruise her leg.

Fabulous location and lots of space. The home was clean but lacked polish—there were scuffs on the walls and a number of the ceiling fixture fans had lights didn’t work or were missing some of the bulbs. The walls could do with some art or decor to make it feel homier. Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was a good temperature and very clean. Would stay again.

Spacious house, quiet and good neighborhood. Walking distance to major attractions. Good functional kitchen and appliances. Hot water temperature can be more stable and water flow from the shower can be more consistent. Can provide pillow cases for spare pillows and provide spare towels. Can include hair blow dryer in the bathrooms. Can install safety grab bars in the bathroom so the elderly or “short” individuals can safely get in and out of the bathtubs. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. Thanks.

This was a great location, being a 15 minute walk to Blue Mountain Village. It was also near a few beaches. Hosts were also very friendly and responsive throughout the stay and prior to the arrival.

We had a great stay at the chalet. There was lots of room for everyone in our group. The team was very responsive anytime I messaged them before or during our trip. The house is great but is a bit older then it appears in photos but regardless we enjoyed ourselves.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is welcoming, spacious, beautiful, clean and functional. Perfect for large groups or families. We had 12 people stay with us and everyone was so impressed with our visit, comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. The cottage is conveniently located close to the Blue mountain and we were also able to enjoy the local restaurants and facilities in the area. Our host was always responsive and caring and took care of addressing any questions or requests. Stay at this place to experience the best of both worlds, hotel experience that feels like home.
