The PV team is very responsive and attentive to any issues that came up during our stay! We noticed the floors were quite dirty upon arrival and they sent a cleaner to re do them shortly after. We also noticed a leak in the fridge and though it didn’t need immediate maintenance, the team said they could send someone if it became worse or caused problems. The house was large enough to sleep 5 families, though some of the upper bunks are quite high to the ceiling so it’s difficult for any one older than a young child to be up there! The house does need a bit of TLC in upgrades/ deeper cleaning but some of that is evident in the photos so you’re aware of that! I would recommend adding shelves/ additional storage in the smallest bathroom and bedrooms because there is not much space to put your belongings. The team offered us an early check in as that was something they could do and that was very much appreciated! Overall we had a great stay and the team is polite, attentive and responsiv

My large group and I had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cottage. It was nice and clean when we got there and nothing was out of place nor broken. The living room is exceptionally beautiful with lots of outdoor lighting seeping in during the day. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here when you have a large group visiting the blue mountain area.

Stayed here for the last 3 years for my birthday, but I was worried about this year because the property management company had changed… I can say they were just as good or even better! I had asked for an extra shoe mat in the house and they had it over within an hour! Also there was a issue with the oven that the guest just before me didn’t notify them of. Before arriving, they had already gave me an alternative option or partial refund just for the food that I wasn’t able to serve my guests. Very proactive on their part. Would stay again!

If you're looking for a big place to stay that can house a large group, this is a great location. The management team is friendly and flexible and if there are issues with the place they will be more than happy to take care of it. That being said, it is important to remember that this place is ran by a business and not by a family sharing their home with you. With that in mind, do not expect the place to be taken care of as someone's home. The place is a bit quirky, with cleaning supplies placed at random around the property, an eclectic mix of kitchen supplies that isn't necessarily equipped to feed a large group of people randomly scattered in drawers, and some rather dirty and dusty areas of the house around furniture and in corners. There is one drawer in the kitchen that is filled with a random mix of wires and cables. Overall you're going to have a good time here, just be prepared for quirks.

The place was very old and smaller than expected. Rooms were quite small. Furniture was worn out, old and stained. The place was very cold overall. Not enough heat to the basement which hosted 3 bedrooms. The attic which has the kitchen and living space is not as well maintained as shown on the pictures. The windows are old and have cold air coming in. For the price we were not very impressed.

We had an amazing time here with my family! Great location, less than 10 mins drive to the village. Bathroom looks like they’ve been recently updated/renovated, very clean. Huge space in the kitchen, lots of plates , pots, pans and utensils to use for a big group like ours. We didn’t have time to explore the backyard cause of the snow. Overall, an enjoyable experience in this chalet

We had a great three night stay in Blue Mountain. We could walk to the village in under 30 minutes. The furniture was comfy and the layout of the seating area was perfect for our group. Hosts were quick to respond. The kitchen was very well stocked and the fire pit was lovely.

We enjoyed our weekend in Collingwood here for a bachelorette. The bedrooms and linens were very clean and comfortable, and we were all surprised with how much sleeping space there was. An option was provided to pay extra for early check-in or late check-out. The furniture was quite worn upstairs but still comfortable. Make sure if you’re cooking to bring ziplock bags or Tupperware to store your food as this ended up being a bit of an issue for us. Otherwise it was a great experience and if I were going back to collingwood with a large group, I’d consider staying here again. Good location, good parking, and overall clean and comfortable.

For the majority, the stay was amazing. Only complaint was that there was some stains and dirt marks on the bed sheets. Otherwise, the upstairs was very tidy, kitchen, living and dining rooms, the basement ping pong table was lots of fun

We went on a family trip and we were 11 adults and 4 kids. The place is large enough for us and we had a really great time. The location was very nice so we can go to beach and the blue mountain village by driving just for 5 minutes. There was a table tennis that we can play and there also was a campfire. Our kids really loved that. But just one thing is that the first floor was a little cold. We tried to turn the temperature up but It didn't work properly. We were a little worried if our kids get a cold. Except that, everything went so well.

Can’t really complain about this place. We really enjoyed our stay, good quality beds to sleep on, lot of open space to use. We had a lot of kids with us, so they had plenty of space to run around. Loved the backyard and the fire pit area. Overall no complaints.

Had amazing stay with group of friends/family for couple of nights. Place is good for large gatherings as plenty of living space to enjoy. Blue mountain village is just 5 mins drive, so location works well. Linens were clean in our experience, unlike some other reviews which mentioned they were dirty. All the rooms/kitchen/washrooms were clean when we arrived, so did not have any challenge. Kitchen had the required supplies, although felt dish washer was not doing 100% of the job, probably 80%, so that's ok. The Team was also responsive with questions, details or any other requirements. Will book the place again on next visit to Blue Mountain. thnx

Pros: - Great location. - Nice open floor plan on main floor living area. Cons: - Cleanliness is a major issue. When we checked in, we spent 2 hrs cleaning all living areas as everything was filthy. We had to wash all of the dishes, and scrub the kitchen counter and tables. There was so much oil/grease on and in the BBQ. The balcony had splattered egg stains on the walls. We paid approx. $300 in cleaning fees so this was unacceptable. - It’s apparent that all the bedding and blankets were not washed. The blankets reeked of body odor. Some of the sheets also had stains. - It is sooo hot. AC/fans are only in the main living area. Nothing for the bedrooms or basement. - An hour into our check in, the smoke alarm kept going off. I msged the hosts and they promptly sent someone over. However, the alarms kept going off throughout our trip for no reason that we just learned to live with it. All in all, this property needs TLC and guests deserve more care, especially for the price we paid.

We've since removed the disclaimed about no airconditioning in the home as we have installed a brand new central air conditioning unit. We apologize that this was not installed before you stay and we understand how this issues affected your comfort. We've also changed the batteries in all smoke alarms and this is no longer an issue. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we work to improve our services and accommodations. We understand your disappointment, especially given the cleaning fee you paid, and we are committed to ensuring these issues are not repeated. Overall we had an okay stay but there were some things that could’ve made us feel more comfortable. It’s an older house and doesn’t have very strong A/C. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean but the main floor area had some cobwebs and the barbecue wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests. Most of the dishes were still somewhat dirty so we had to re-wash them. The main issue we had was with the temperature- it was quite hard to sleep because it was so hot in the bedrooms on the main floor. There’s no A/C in the bedrooms- only in the kitchen/living room area. The fire alarm also kept going off inexplicably (while we were sleeping, at 5am when no one was smoking or cooking). We liked that there was a fire pit area; it wasn’t pictured so it was a pleasant surprise! The hosts were very responsive - we ran out of propane for the barbecue and they came to drop off more within 5 minutes.

We enjoyed our time here, the location was private with a fire pit and bbq available to us. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Bathrooms were newly renovated and very clean! We did however notice some things that could be improved upon including cleanliness of the house in general (dishes, chairs, and the BBQ specifically) as well as the strength of the AC - especially on the upper levels, the AC was not as effective as it could have been.

This was such a find! we were a group of 17 people staying for 3 nights and the stay was very comfortable. the highlight was the common area that boasted a large living, dining, and kitchen area in an open concept that made even cooking meals fun. it had all the amenities needed including a BBQ. The 5 ground floor rooms were a good size. 2 of them had attached bathroom and a common one on the floor. basement had 3 more rooms with bunk beds and was pretty good for the kids. bathrooms and line were well stocked and squeaky clean. the team was always very responsive. during the stay the BBQ ran out of gas and it was replaced in less than 5 minutes. it's a 5 min drive to the village where you can find all the restaurants. conveniently located. highly recommend staying here.

Was it worth the money, not quite. The cleanliness of the place was could’ve been better especially in the kitchen area. The dishes, cutlery and glassware were not cleaned very well, before using anything in the kitchen we had to clean everything which was quite shocking giving the amount I paid for the place. Also the pictures showcasing the outside area could’ve been shown and described better because behind the house was basically a dirt filled backyard with nothing there. It would’ve been nice to have had a firepit and lawn chairs in the back to enjoy more of the backyard. Also the lighting in the entryway and in the basement above the ping pong table area that couldn’t be turned off at all made it difficult for many of my guests to fall asleep due to the bright fluorescent lights that were peaking through the door cracks and when you’d walk out the hallway at night you’d be awaken by the bright lights trying to use the restroom.
